First Friday Frenzy

Friday night was the first "First Friday" open studio at the new space. It was fabulous! So many wonderful people stopped by and shared in the wine, conversation, art...and well.. I have to mention Pancho's cheese dip since it traveled all the way from Memphis to join us :) To everyone who came out because of an invite...Your presence meant the world! And for those who stopped by just walking down Gay Street...yay! Thank you for taking a chance walking into the studio...I truly appreciate you joining us. I met and mingled with some really great folks and hope to see everyone again next month! More art is coming soon...I'm about to be a busy bee, creating art to show for the August and September "First Friday" art walk. There are some exciting things coming....See you all soon! :) Knox Rocks!

Our New Signs :)

So, we have our door signs! Our new hanging ginormous sign will be coming this week hopefully... and I am thrilled. My space is coming together, my new desk is fabulous, and I am wicked excited! yeah!

Coming along....

So, this will be my new corner...back by the beautiful window & lime green wall. Progress is being made and we are so excited! I can envision a most fabulous desk (made by the awesome Jason Stephens) out of an old door and old posters from a bed...my sweet Apple sitting on top and possibly some fresh daisies. Work work work here I come...this will be such a refreshing & inspiring place to work on my latest project...I even have a hidden patio out back to help from the feared "designers block" :) Could it be any cooler? I'll answer that, no...no it can't. More pics to come soon, so check back!

New Things a Happenin'

So lots of new and exciting things about to happen and I am thoroughly & fantastically thrilled! My new website will be launching tomorrow (yae!) as well moving into my new studio down on Gay street in 23 days! Life and business couldn't be better...what a wonderful world this is :)
